McDonald’s Korea has added two limited-time menu items inspired by Korean ingredients with the launch of its Chungju Corn Cheese Croquette Burger and Chungju Corn Cheese Croquette Muffin.
The new products are part of the company’s ongoing “Taste of Korea” series, which features regional ingredients from across the country.
Both menu items include a crispy corn croquette filled with chewy glutinous corn and mozzarella cheese.
The burger pairs the croquette with a beef patty, lettuce, tomato, and a spicy parmesan sauce, while the breakfast muffin combines the croquette with an English muffin and breakfast-style ingredients.
The burger is available from 10:30 a.m. to 4 a.m., while the muffin is sold during McDonald’s breakfast hours from 4 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The burger meal is also available as part of the chain’s McLunch promotion between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. for dine-in customers.
The items are being offered for a limited time and may be discontinued at different dates depending on individual restaurant inventory.
Availability also varies by location, with some highway rest area restaurants and selected stores not participating.
