Mitam Hermitage and the City of Yangsan announced the completion of a new dining hall facility designed to improve convenience and safety for visitors to the popular temple site on the slopes of Cheonseongsan.

The hermitage, known for its natural cave housing a stone Amitabha Buddha statue, draws many visitors each year. However, its aging dining hall and overlapping foot traffic between worshippers and tourists had long created congestion and discomfort.

To address these issues, Yangsan and Mitam Hermitage carried out a ₩2 billion project to demolish the old structure and build an expanded, relocated dining hall. Construction began in July 2024 and is now nearing completion, bringing upgraded facilities, improved circulation, and a more orderly, pleasant environment.

Marking the occasion, Mitam Hermitage donated ₩10 million to the Yangsan Talent Development Scholarship Foundation and 1,000 boxes of ramen (worth about ₩12 million) to the Yangsan Woongsang Branch Office, sharing the spirit of giving as the new facility opens.
