The rich aroma of sizzling K-barbecue will fill the autumn air as the 2025 Seoul Barbecue Festa takes place from October 25 to 26 at Noeul Park Campground in Mapo-gu.

The two-day global food and tourism festival invites locals and visitors alike to experience the taste, atmosphere, and style of Seoul under the golden sunset.

This year’s festival celebrates K-barbecue culture with special zones such as the All-in-One Self Barbecue ZoneSeoul’s Top Three Barbecue Restaurants, and the Seoul Barbecue Road.

Visitors can purchase high-quality Korean pork and beef from regions like Andong, Chuncheon, and Jeju and grill them on-site at the self-barbecue zone, an event so popular that its pre-bookings sold out in minutes.

Seoul’s most famous barbecue spots—NamyeongdonTalk by chef Oh Jun-tak, and Haebong Butcher’s House—will join forces to present exclusive festival-only menu items, from traditional charcoal-grilled pork to premium Korean beef prepared before guests’ eyes.

The Seoul Barbecue Road will also showcase trending barbecue restaurants such as MungteongYanginhwandae, and Jjitgeungoogi, offering their signature dishes at discounted prices.

For those looking for a unique twist, the festival includes a Joseon Barbecue Experience where visitors can enjoy traditional-style cooking, and the Happy Yum Yum Ramen Shop, a cozy outdoor space pairing barbecue with classic Korean instant noodles.

Beyond the food, the event will also host a Sunset Concert featuring artists Min Kyung-hoon, Nilo, and Jeon Sang-geun, a Fall Healing Trek leading through scenic trails to the festival grounds, and an Outdoor Reading Lounge complete with mats, folding chairs, and book kits for a moment of calm under the autumn sky.

Visitors can also enjoy family-friendly attractions like large photo zones featuring Haechi and Kakao Friends characters and the Seoul Kids Café in Barbecue, a play area for children operating three times daily.

Shuttle buses and the Noeul Park “Mangggongi Train” will provide easy access to the venue, with the city recommending public transportation due to expected traffic.
