The MICHELIN Guide Seoul & Busan 2026 has been released, highlighting the continued growth of Seoul’s fine dining scene as the guide marks its 10th anniversary in Korea.
This year’s Seoul selection features 178 restaurants, including 42 MICHELIN-starred establishments, reinforcing the city’s reputation as one of Asia’s leading culinary destinations.
Among the top honors, Mingles retained its Three MICHELIN Stars for the second consecutive year. Led by chef Kang Min-goo, the restaurant continues to represent the pinnacle of modern Korean gastronomy, blending traditional flavors with refined contemporary techniques.
Two restaurants now hold Two MICHELIN Stars in Seoul. Sosuheon, led by chef Park Kyung-jae, was promoted to the category, while Mosu, headed by chef Sung Ahn, earned two stars as a new addition.
Several restaurants also received new One MICHELIN Star recognition, including Collage, GiwaKang, SAN, and Sushi Kanesaka, reflecting the diversity of Seoul’s evolving dining landscape.
Overall, Seoul now counts 1 three-star, 10 two-star, and 31 one-star restaurants, along with 51 Bib Gourmand selections and 85 MICHELIN Selected restaurants. The results highlight the city’s growing culinary depth and its balance between traditional Korean cuisine and global influences.
