Starbucks Korea has announced a temporary policy allowing customers to receive full refunds on Starbucks Card balances through June 14, regardless of how much of the balance has been used.

Under the measure, customers can request refunds of up to 2 million won without meeting the previous requirement of spending at least 60% of the most recent top-up amount.

Refund requests can be made through the Starbucks mobile app or at Starbucks stores nationwide. Customers using registered Starbucks Cards can apply through the app until June 14, with funds deposited into a designated bank account within seven business days.

Holders of physical cards that are not registered in the app can visit a store and receive an immediate cash refund..

Starbucks Korea currently holds approximately 400 billion won in prepaid customer funds through its Starbucks Card program according to estimates.
