Starbucks launches limited "Busan Sand Beach Cream Frappuccino”

Starbucks is launching a new limited edition beverage for this summer which is only available at Busan locations.

The company announced on its official Facebook page that “Busan ​​Sand Beach Cream Frappuccino”, which resembles the cool beaches of the city.

The drink is reminiscent of summer sand on the beach and is topped with black tea powder and an almond chocolate topping shaped like shells.

The drink will be available in Busan stores from June 4th.

Starbucks Exceeds US in Premium Outlets

Starbucks Korea announced last week that the number of upscale Reserve outlets has surpassed that of the United States, reflecting Koreans’ growing appetite for premium coffee offerings.

The company will open its 50th Starbucks Reserve store in central Seoul on this week, Starbucks Korea said in a statement. The coffee chain runs 37 premium stores in the U.S.

“We are planning to expand the Reserve stores in Korea to absorb increasing demand for premium coffee,” a company spokesman said.
