Vegetarian: Jirisan Restaurant
Located in Insa-dong, Jirisan is a famous restaurant specialized in han-jeongsik (Korean Table d'hote). The restaurant boasts a traditional hanok (Korean house) building that offers an ambience of Korean beauty.
The main menu is comprised of dubu jeongol (tofu hot pot), bean paste pot-stew, bean curd dregs, kimchi bean curd dregs, acorn jelly salad, dubu-kimchi (tofu with stir-fried kimchi). Appetizers include nakji-bokkeum (stir-fried octopus). In addition, there are also seasonal side dishes specially selected for the time of year. There are three different set menu courses. The Chun-Wang-Bong set menu requires a reservation and notification one day in advance.
Vegetarians can taste the authenticity of Jirisan’s Korean cuisine while enjoying a traditional Korean ambience.
