Seoul’s first integrated children’s complex, Seoul Kids Plaza, officially opens on December 12 in Gangseo District, offering indoor play, after-school care, and mental-wellness programs under one roof.
The new five-story facility (B1–4F) brings together three key child-focused services in one centralized hub:
1F – Seoul Kids Café (Hwagok Branch)
A jungle-themed indoor playground featuring a 5.5-meter-high, 15-meter-long mega slide, zipline, climbing structures, interactive digital play, and age-zoned areas for infants, young children, and older kids. Open to ages 4–12, admission is 5,000 won with free entry for guardians.
2F – Gangseo Hub Kiwoom Center
A major after-school care base offering cultural, arts, VR, and maker programs, along with regular, temporary, and emergency care for children ages 6–12. It also supports local childcare providers and runs collaborative programs with schools.
3–4F – Seoul Children’s Future Bloom Center
Korea’s first mind-literacy center, providing early assessment and preventive mental-wellness programs. Through group activities and themed interactive rooms, children can explore emotions, identify challenges early, and strengthen future competencies. Programs are free and available by reservation.
City officials say Seoul Kids Plaza will become a flagship child-friendly space, helping families access play, care, and emotional support all in one location while advancing Seoul’s goal of becoming a more child-friendly city.
