Cpl. Alex Thill

III Marine Expeditionary Force

Cpl. Alex Thill climbs his way to the top of a rock wall March 24, 2017, near Camp Mujuk, Republic of Korea, during Korea Marine Exercise Program 17-6. Recon Marines from the U.S. and ROK spent the day demonstrating different ways to rappel and rock climb. The goal of the KMEP is to enhance and improve the interoperability of ROK and U.S. Marine Corps forces at the tactical level to build combined warfighting capabilities. Thill, a Mitchell, South Dakota native, is an assistant radio operator with 3d Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
