Air Busan is restarting service on the Busan–Hanoi route for the first time in approximately six years.
The airline will operate semi-regular flights between Busan and Hanoi from December 31 to March 1, running four times a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Flights will depart Gimhae International Airport at 8:30 p.m., arriving at Hanoi Airport at 11:30 p.m.
Return flights leave Hanoi at 12:40 am, landing in Busan at 7:05 am. The route will use a 232-seat A321 NEO aircraft, with a flight time of around five hours.
Air Busan originally launched regular service on this route in October 2018 but suspended operations in February 2020 due to the pandemic.
With flights now resuming, the airline anticipates strong demand from travelers headed to the Vietnamese capital, known for its historic temples and natural scenery, as well as from those connecting to its other Vietnam routes such as Da Nang and Nha Trang.
