April brings a lot of activities around the city to get out and enjoy more of what the city has to offer.

Here are 10 events to get you started planning your month of things to do around Busan.

8th Busan Nakdong River Yuchae (Canola) Flower Festival

Date: April 6 – 14

Location: Daejeo Ecological Park in Gangseo-gu

Check out the huge fields of yellow canolas while enjoying the fresh country air.

 

Daejeo Tomato Festival

Date: April 6 – 7

Location: Gangseo Sports Park

Highlights of the festival include free tastings, displays of various tomato-based dishes and the making of a massive plate of spaghetti.

Gwangan International Community Fair

Date: April 14

Location: Gorilla Brewing Company

The seventh edition of the fair brings together great foods and goods to be bought to help local charities.

 

Game of Thrones Season 8 Premiere

Date: April 15

Location: HQ Bar

The highly anticipated season 8 is released and HQ Bar will be showing the entirety of it each Monday night.

 

Paul Potts Tour in Korea

Date: April 21

Location: Busan Cultural Center

Famed tenor Paul Potts returns to Korea once again to perform in Busan for one evening only.

Busan International Short Film Festival

Date: April 24 – 29

Location: Busan Cinema Center, Moonlight Cinema

The 36th edition of BISFF returns for another year of great short films from around the world.

 

Gijang Anchovy Festival

Date: April 25 – 28

Location: Daebyeon Harbor

The Gijang Anchovy Festival has a variety of events and food, featuring a plethora of aquatic products at reasonable prices.

 

Gwangalli Fishing Village Festival

Date: April 26 – 28

Location: Gwangalli Beach

Known locally as the “Eobang Festival”, this popular festival pays homage to the local fishing village culture of the Joseon Dynasty era.

Gamcheon Culture Village Festival

Date: April 26 – 28

Location: Gamcheon Culture Village

Selected as the city’s best festival of 2019, the popular culture village in Saha-gu celebrates its 9th edition.

 

K-Pet Fair

Date: April 26 – 28

Location: BEXCO

The largest pet fair in the country, K-Pet Fair returns to Busan with a great variety of contents for its visitors.
