The autumn foliage at the Gyeongnam Arboretum has peaked, where visitors can enjoy the vibrant beauty of the season during the ongoing 2025 GyeongnamArboretum Autumn Foliage Festival, running until November 16.

On Sunday, November 9, more than 9,100 visitors flocked to the arboretum, strolling along the scenic American Sweetgum Trail and Metasequoia Path, both blanketed in brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold.

The arboretum continues to solidify its reputation as one of the region’s most beloved autumn destinations.

In addition to the stunning foliage, visitors can also enjoy bonsai and chrysanthemum exhibitions, along with a variety of hands-on experience programs, making it an ideal outing for families, couples, and friends alike.

Looking ahead, the arboretum has outlined a master plan for expansion and revitalization through 2034, including improvements such as expanded parking facilities, the construction of a sky bridge, and the development of visitor amenities and plant-themed cultural spaces.

As visitor numbers continue to increase, the arboretum advises guests to use public transportation or carpool to help alleviate parking congestion during the festival period.
