BIFF 2026 announces ticket sales schedule, beginning Sept. 17

The Busan International Film Festival has announced its ticket schedule for this year’s event, with reservations beginning September 17.
The full screening schedule will be released September 11 at 5 p.m., giving moviegoers nearly a week to plan before the first round of ticket sales.
Tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies go on sale September 17 at 2 p.m. Reservations will also open that day for Open Cinema, Midnight Passion, Actors’ House and Community BIFF.
Tickets for general screenings, Cine Class and Master Class programs will follow on September 21 at 2 p.m.
Reservations can be made through the official BIFF website, with a maximum of two tickets allowed per screening code. Tickets that remain available online or are released through cancellations may also be purchased at festival ticket boxes.
BIFF is expanding its dedicated onsite ticketing service for people who may have difficulty with digital reservations. A limited number of seats will be set aside for people aged 65 and older and people with disabilities, with same-day and next-day general screening tickets available at all BIFF ticket boxes.
The festival will also offer barrier-free versions of 11 films, featuring audio descriptions for visually impaired audiences and closed captions for those with hearing impairments.
Cancellations and refunds will be available until 60 minutes before screenings, although cancellation fees may apply.
The 31st Busan International Film Festival runs October 6 to 15 at the Busan Cinema Center and nearby venues.
