Busan is preparing to welcome BTS fans from around the world with a dedicated tourism hub designed to connect concertgoers with the city’s attractions, culture, and experiences.
The Busan Metropolitan Government and the Busan Tourism Organization will operate the “BTS THE CITY Arirang Busan Welcome Center: Check-In Busan” from June 5 to 21 at the Busan Eurasia Platform near Busan Station.
Created as an interactive visitor center for fans and tourists, the venue will also serve as an official stamp rally location for HYBE’s BTS THE CITY project.
‘Operating hours will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with extended hours until 10 p.m. from June 10 to 16.
The welcome center will provide tourist information, luggage storage and delivery services through Jim Carry, and recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, festivals, and transportation options.
Visitors can also enjoy a range of interactive experiences, including BTS-themed music and dance activities, K-beauty styling zones, Photoism photo booths, Busan tourism games, and an AI-powered travel recommendation service using Google Gemini.
The city’s mascot, Boogi, will make special appearances from June 11 to 14, while fan participation events, including random play dance sessions, will be held during the peak concert period.
Additional welcome events will take place across Busan.
A five-meter-tall K-pop Listener Boogi photo installation will greet visitors at Busan Station Plaza from June 5 to 21. A Busan Pop-up Store showcasing local products and cultural performances will be held at Busan Station on June 12 and 13, alongside traditional Arirang-themed performances including Miryang Baekjung Nori and other folk arts.
At Gimhae International Airport, visitors arriving between June 8 and 14 can enjoy special welcome activities, including tourism photo zones and prize giveaways.
City officials hope the welcome center will encourage BTS fans to explore Busan beyond the concert venues and experience the city’s food, culture, attractions, and local character during their stay.
