Buckwheat field near Humphreys a great photo op in Korea!

In a time when social distancing is a must, places like the beautiful buckwheat field spread around the Pyeongtaek Hyanggyo, a Confucian temple, are a great reprieve from the masses in congested areas across Korea.

This field is cultivated by Pyeongtaek City for neighborhood residents. The buckwheat isn’t in full bloom until September but there are plenty of flowers, so it’s still a good place to snap some photos and enjoy some fresh air.

You should check out this hidden gem if you find yourself in Paengseong-eup.
