Busan will launch a citywide “Big Sale Week” from June 10 to 16 in an effort to spread the economic benefits of the BTS World Tour Arirang in Busan concerts beyond the event venue and into local communities.

The campaign will feature discounts and promotions at more than 550 small businesses and nine major retailers across the city. Popular commercial districts including Haeundae’s Haeridan-gil, Jeonpo Cafe Street, the Pusan National University area, and Busanjin Market will participate alongside major retailers such as Lotte Department Store Busan Main Store, Lotte Mall Dongbusan, and E-Mart Haeundae.

Participating businesses will offer a range of promotions, including discounts, giveaways, and bonus cashback through the Dongbaekjeon local currency platform. Some stores will provide special discounts for BTS concertgoers who present proof of attendance.

To encourage visitor spending, Busan will also release a limited batch of Dongbaekjeon tourism vouchers at a 15% discount. The vouchers will be available at Busan Pop-up Store events and at Gimhae International Airport during the concert period.

As part of the initiative, Busan Station Plaza will host a Busan Pop-up Store on June 12 and 13, featuring local products, beauty brands, crafts, food items, and cultural performances.

The city will also operate a Busan-style homestay program aimed at providing free accommodation opportunities for international visitors while helping ease pressure on hotel availability.
