Families in Dong-gu can cool off this summer as the district hosts its 2026 Children’s Water Gun Festival at Dong-gu Office Plaza on August 22 and August 24.

The free event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on both days and is open to Dong-gu residents born between 2017 and 2021, including preschoolers and children in the lower grades of elementary school.

Participants can enjoy a variety of water-themed games and activities, including water gun target challenges, basketball games, quiz events, and team competitions.

A free-play water zone will also be available during the festival.

Attendance is limited to 200 children per session on a first-come, first-served basis through advance registration.

The August 22 session is intended primarily for individual families, while the August 24 session will prioritize group participation.

Participation is free, and water guns will be provided for use during the event.
