As the weather cools and the leaves have already begun to change, Busan offers plenty of places to enjoy autumn’s colors and seasonal flowers.

From coastal temples to mountain trails and city parks, here are ten reliable spots to experience the fall scenery without leaving the city.

Beomeosa Temple

Located on the slopes of Geumjeongsan Mountain, this temple is noted for its autumn leaves maple and ginkgo that line the stone-wall paths. A good option for a half-day visit combining nature and culture.

Geumjeongsan Mountain / Geumjeongsanseong Fortress

This mountain area features hiking trails and fortress walls, and is praised for its fall foliage region-wide. Ideal for those with time and interest in a more active outing.

Seunghaksan Mountain

Besides trees, this mountain is also known for silver grass fields in autumn. A good choice if you’re looking for something slightly off the main trail.

Eulsukdo Eco Park

Located at the Nakdong River estuary, this park features reed fields and a calm riverside walk suited to late autumn. Great for a relaxed outing with easier access.

Oncheoncheon Stream

A city-stream walk that becomes more colourful in autumn, coupled with cafés and convenience. Ideal for a lighter walk without leaving urban Busan.

Hwangnyeongsan Mountain

Famous for panoramic city and sea views; easier to reach, so good for a quick autumn outing. Less demanding than some mountain hikes.

Daejeo Ecological Park

Known for fields of flowers and grass that extend into autumn; a more open space option. Suitable for a relaxed walk and photo-op.

Taejongdae Resort Park

This seaside park merges coastal cliffs with seasonal color with trees and sea in one view. Good for combining nature and scenery with minimal hiking.

Dalmaji Hill

Near the coast at Haeundae, this walking road gives you a mix of ocean view and trees turning color. Good for combining a stroll, views and light nature time.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

This seaside temple offers an autumn view of trees plus sea, which is a slightly different feel from inland mountain foliage. Good for combining culture, coast and seasonal color.
