The city of Busan will hold the 11th Forest Experience Festival from October 17 to 18 at the Haeundae and Hwamyeong Arboretums, offering citizens an opportunity to connect with nature while fostering ecological sensitivity and environmental awareness.

This large-scale eco-experience program, which expects around 1,500 participants, invites children and families to explore the beauty of the forest through hands-on learning and outdoor activities.

On October 17, at Haeundae Arboretum, children will take part in the “Eco-Tiering” exploration program using themed gardens, experiencing the forest’s vitality while learning about biodiversity.

At the same time, Hwamyeong Arboretum will host activities such as mole hide-and-seek, insect-eye crafting, pinecone park golf, and garden tending workshops designed to engage both children and adults.

The following day, October 18, a special family program at Hwamyeong Arboretum will welcome ten families with children aged six and older.

Participants will enjoy a guided autumn forest tour, nature play activities like color and fruit classification, crafting family wish ornaments, evening walks with tea, and a small forest concert accompanied by the sounds of autumn insects.

Any interested citizen can join the event by registering in advance through Busan’s Integrated Reservation System (reserve.busan.go.kr), with on-site registration also available on the first day.
