The 2025 Fall YOLO Galmaetgil Walking Event will take place from October 18 to December 14, offering residents and visitors a chance to relax, recharge, and rediscover the hidden charms of the city.

The event is designed around Busan’s signature walking trail, Galmaetgil, which stretches across urban and coastal landscapes. Participants will experience a slower pace of travel, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the scenic beauty that defines Busan.

This year’s fall program expands to six themed categories: YOLO Galmaetgil Walking, Regular Galmaetgil Walking, Together Galmaetgil Walking, Moonlight Galmaetgil Walking, the Office Worker Expedition, and the Galmaetgil Promotional Tour. In total, 65 courses—including 23 official Galmaetgil routes spanning 278.8 kilometers and 10 themed YOLO routes—will be available, with about 1,380 participants expected to join.

New additions include the Office Worker Expedition, which targets participants in their 30s to 50s seeking a wellness-focused outdoor experience, and the Galmaetgil Promotional Tour, inviting influencers from other regions to share Busan’s walking culture nationwide.

To ensure accessibility and safety, professional trekking guides will accompany all participants, including those with limited mobility.

Participation is free and open to everyone. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis through the official Galmaetgil website: www.갈맷길.kr
