Busan will spotlight its diverse dining scene throughout October with the return of the 2026 Busan Gourmet Selection, bringing together restaurants, cafés and bakeries for a month of limited-edition collaborative menus.
Running from October 1 to 31, the promotion will feature 31 businesses across 15 teams, an increase from the 26 businesses that participated in the first-half edition earlier this year.
The concept pairs Busan food businesses to create new dishes and special menus by combining their signature ingredients, cooking styles and specialties. Six collaborations involve Michelin Guide-selected restaurants working with local establishments, while nine pair other Busan-based businesses.
This year’s lineup also expands beyond traditional restaurant collaborations, with cafés, bakeries and dessert businesses taking part alongside Korean, Western and Japanese restaurants.
Among the participating teams are Baekil Pyeongnaeng and Busanae; L’Essence and Osteria Aboo; Ramsey and Mulmangcho; 19 Burger Table and Seokbong Galbitang; Sakanaramen and Eutteum Iroribata; 1953 Hyungje Dwaeji Gukbap and Bokgyewok; Poema Coffee and Bakehone; Taesungdang and Hytte Roastery; and Yangsan Gukbap, Shunsai Kubo and Sogonggan.
Each collaboration will offer its specially developed menu for a limited time during October, with individual availability and reservation details varying by location.
The program was first introduced on a trial basis in 2025 before expanding to twice a year in 2026. The June edition featured 13 teams and 26 restaurants, which developed 30 collaborative dishes and attracted 2,425 customers.
Information on participating restaurants, menus, sales periods and reservations will be available through a dedicated 2026 Busan Gourmet Selection page on Catchtable.
