People flocking at Busan’s Winter Light Tree Festival

Get into the holiday spirit this year at the 2025 Gwangbok-ro Winter Light Tree Festival in Nampo-dong running December 5 through February 22.

Under the theme “K-Nuri: From Gwangbok to the World,” the street will showcase K-content-inspired light sculptures, including a main tree featuring anamorphic video technology. Interactive media art and media façades will appear throughout the area.

Concerts, Christmas programs, and a citizen light-up event are planned, with the opening ceremony set for December 5 at 5:30 p.m.

Sanbok Road will also display festive lighting from Hye-gwang High School to the Yeongju-dong hillside elevator.

The lights will be on daily from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
