Busan International Performing Arts Festival to be held May 18 to 27

The 15th Busan International Performing Arts Festival, also known as BIPAF, will take place from May 18th to the 27th at the various locations around the city.
 
The opening ceremony for this year’s BIPAF will be held at Haneulyeon Theater in the Busan Cinema Center on the 18th of May at 6 p.m.
 
A total of 24 performances will be held by national and international teams from 10 countries around the world, including Brazil, UK, France, Greece, Israel, Russia, Taiwan, China, Japan and Korea.
 
The themes of this year’s festival will be “Play”, “Ocean” and “Festival”.
 
For the opening performance of the festival, “Macbeth” will be performed by the Shinjuku Ryozanpaku group from Japan.
