The city of Busan will host a month-long jazz concert series in November, blending the city’s maritime charm with the smooth sounds of live jazz.

Titled “Busan Port Meets Jazz (BUSAN JAZZ PORT),” the series will take place every Saturday at 6 p.m. on November 8, 15, 22, and 29 at Space Wonji, a renovated cultural complex located in Yeongdo District.

The event, organized by Busan City in collaboration with Space Wonji and local arts collective Maeummiin Art Planning, aims to showcase Busan’s identity as a port city while promoting jazz as an accessible cultural experience.

Visitors can expect relaxed, atmospheric performances where music, food, and the harbor view come together to create a unique urban vibe.

Local jazz musicians will headline the shows, performing a mix of popular standards and improvised sets inspired by Busan’s nightscape.

The concerts are designed to highlight the connection between the port’s industrial history and the city’s growing reputation as a creative hub.

All performances are free to attend, but advance reservations are required via Naver (Space Wonji).
