Busan will kick off the 2026 Korea Night Festa with a two-day celebration at the Busan Cinema Center from July 18–19, combining film, live performances, food, and outdoor activities into a unique nighttime festival.

The event is the first stop in a nationwide series held across 10 designated night tourism cities and is designed to showcase Busan’s after-dark attractions while encouraging visitors to experience the city beyond daytime sightseeing.

Under the theme “Rest, Recharge, and Stay on a Summer Night,” the festival will feature an outdoor book lounge complete with beanbags and camping chairs, where visitors can relax with more than 500 books or participate in a movie quote writing activity.

A highlight of the festival will be the Candlelight Concert on July 18, featuring classical performances of famous movie soundtracks under LED candlelight. The concert will be held alongside the opening night of the Busan Travel Film Festival, followed by a screening of The Fall: Director’s Cut.

Visitors can also explore the Night Convenience Store, offering a taste of Busan through local specialties such as dwaeji gukbap ramen, along with a selection of instant noodles, traditional Korean liquor, and local craft beer. International visitors will also have the chance to experience Korea’s food delivery culture through interactive demonstrations.

Held in conjunction with the 2026 Busan Travel Film Festival, the event will also feature film screenings, talks, cultural performances, and a Latin jazz performance inspired by Buena Vista Social Club.

The Korea Tourism Organization will continue the Korea Night Festa Stamp Tour through October, with Busan serving as the opening destination before the festival travels to nine other night tourism cities across the country.
