Busan is hosting a week-long series of special sales events featuring locally produced food, lifestyle goods and tourism products at two of the city’s largest department stores.

Organized by the Busan Metropolitan Government and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, the events run through June 18 and are designed to introduce regional products to both residents and visitors while supporting local small businesses and entrepreneurs.

At Lotte Department Store’s Busan Main Branch, a K-Dessert Fair is taking place on the basement level, featuring six local brands offering products such as pizza-style rice cakes, tteokbokki, dumplings, coffee and cakes.

Shinsegae Centum City is hosting a Busan Local Fair from June 13 to 18 in its basement-level central plaza. The event features a range of locally made products, including fruit syrups, low-sugar jams, baked goods, meal kits, seasonings, shampoo bars, clothing, towels and tourism-related merchandise.

A total of 18 regional companies are participating in the two events, providing an opportunity to expand sales channels while promoting Busan-made products to domestic and international visitors.
