The Busan Museum of Art has extended its hours of operation until 9 p.m. every Friday starting from February 1. The museum has been opening every Saturday and the last Wednesday of every month for “The Day of Culture” at night.

Responding to a survey conducted over 3 months beginning last November, that asked about 750 visitors about opening the museum on Friday nights, the museum will now open exhibitions on the 2nd and 3rd floor of its main building for visitors who prefer to visit the museum at night, such as office workers, students and foreign visitors.

The Children’s museum and Space Lee Ufan will continue their regular opening hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday.

The museum plans to offer various programs for night time visitors.
