Busan Museum will host the 2025 Museum Harmony Education Festival on November 8 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at its outdoor courtyard, bringing together 16 museums and art institutions under the Busan Museum Association.
The event will feature 18 hands-on education programs, all free for the public to experience in one place.
The annual festival, first launched in 2009, allows citizens to explore the unique educational and cultural programs of Busan’s museums and galleries.
This year’s lineup includes creative and family-friendly activities such as the Busan Museum’s Artifact Character Canvas Bag Making and K-Culture Costume Experience (Lion Boys), the National Memorial Museum of Forced Mobilization’s “Under the Stars” Mood Lamp, the Busan Marine Natural History Museum’s Fish Wind Chime Craft, and Beomeosa Temple Museum’s “Don’t Worry Doll” Making.
Each session will accept on-site registrations for 15–20 participants every hour from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with five booths offering open participation without registration. Around 1,000 visitors, including families and students, are expected to attend.
The event encourages public access to museum education in a lively outdoor setting, transforming the museum space into a hub of community learning and creativity.
Visitors are advised to use public transportation due to limited parking.
