The city of Busan has partnered with Naver to launch the BE LOCAL campaign, running through July 19, to help international visitors discover the city’s restaurants, cafés, shopping districts, and cultural attractions.

The campaign highlights more than 300 locations across Busan, including popular destinations in Haeundae, Seomyeon, and Gijang.

Through Naver Map’s multilingual service, foreign visitors can browse recommended venues, access discount coupons at participating restaurants, and use integrated reservation and payment services.

The initiative places a strong focus on Busan’s growing culinary tourism sector. More than 85 restaurants, including Michelin Guide selections and eateries recognized through the city’s “Taste of Busan” program, are currently participating.

The number is expected to expand to around 200 venues before the campaign concludes.

Promotion will be intensified during the BTS World Tour Arirang in Busan concerts on June 12–13, with advertising displayed at major transportation hubs including Busan Station, Haeundae, Gwangalli, Nampo-dong, and along travel routes from Incheon International Airport to Busan via KTX.

The city expects the campaign to encourage concert visitors to explore local dining and cultural attractions, helping extend stays and boost spending across the region.

Busan has also released the 2026 Busan Gourmet Guide, featuring Michelin Guide restaurants, Taste of Busan selections, and other notable dining destinations.

A digital version is available through the official tourism platform, Visit Busan, at Visit Busan.
