Busan launches night festa with new downtown music series

Busan will kick off the 2026 Starry Night Busan Night Festa from July 25, bringing a lineup of evening events and performances to locations across the city through the end of the year.
A major addition this year is the debut of Balcony Music Show & Street Festa, a new recurring performance series in Busan’s original downtown.
The opening Street Festa will take place on Gwangbok-ro today, featuring live music, dance performances, traditional cultural activities, photo booths, local vendors, and a parade car stage with interactive sing-along performances.
Beginning in August, the Balcony Music Show will be held on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month through December.
Performances ranging from K-pop and jazz to fusion Korean music and movie soundtracks will be staged from the second-floor balcony of the Busan Brand Shop and a mobile parade stage.
Additional Night Festa programs will roll out throughout the second half of the year, including the Night Walk along Busan’s waterfront on August 29–30, the Night Music Campnic at Dadaepo Beach Park from September 4–19, and the popular Night Market, which returns September 26 through October 18 with food, shopping, and hands-on activities.
