Camarata Music kicks off their 10th anniversary with one of the greatest choral masterpieces of all time!  Featuring the Camarata Chorale and Orchestra, and conducted by Dr. Ryan Goessl, with soloists Mi Son Lim and SeungWook Seong, and organist Yoojoung Chai, this concert marks the beginning of Camarata Music's 10th anniversary year, and will be an event not to miss!

Johannes Brahms' masterpiece was completed in 1868, possibly as a tribute to the passing of his mother. Unlike many Requiem compositions, Brahms' 'Ein deutsches Requiem' was written for the concert stage, not the church, and thus, was also written in his native German language, a first for its time.

This composition is one of the masterpieces of the classical music repertoire, and is also one of the most difficult, yet most beautiful and sublime of all major compositions. The soaring soprano women, coupled with the deep basses and full-toned altos, and rounded out by the energetic, yet floating tenors, will transform the listener into a sense of wonder and joy.

Camarata Music was founded in 2009 by its conductor, Dr. Ryan Goessl, and is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Truly one of its kind worldwide, the organization has given more than 300 concerts, and has included members from 101 different countries from 6 continents, fulfilling its mission to "Create Global Communities Through the Universal Language of Music." The Chorale lives by its purpose to prove that everyone can sing music of a high quality, with the right instruction, and gives three major concerts per year, including many of the world's greatest major works.
