Bright yellow canola flowers have begun to bloom in Paradarangse, located in Dumo Village in Sangju-myeon, Namhae, marking an early sign of the region’s spring season.

The area, whose name combines “paradise” and “terraced fields,” is known for its distinctive landscape where tiered farmland meets sweeping ocean views. As the flowers start to open, the contrast between the yellow fields, blue sea, and layered hills creates one of Namhae’s most recognizable spring scenes.

Spring is already underway across Namhae, with plum blossoms reaching full bloom in recent days. The canola fields are now following, and cherry blossoms are expected to appear soon, continuing the seasonal transition.

With its mix of coastal scenery and agricultural heritage, Paradarangse draws visitors each year looking for a quieter alternative to more crowded spring destinations.
