Changwon to host 2025 Marine Leisure Sports Tournament Nov. 1-2

Changwon City will hold the 2025 Changwon Hydrofly Championship and the Changwon Dragon Boat Race on November 1–2 at the coastal waters near the Masan 3·15 Marine Nuri Park.
The event is designed to give citizens and visitors a chance to experience marine leisure sports while promoting Changwon’s image as a “marine leisure tourism city.”
Around 350 participants, including athletes and officials, are expected to compete in the featured events—hydrofly and dragon boat racing—bringing excitement to the festival weekend.
The opening ceremony will take place on November 1 at 1 p.m. at the special stage inside 3·15 Marine Nuri Park.
Afterward, spectators can enjoy the Hydrofly Championship, showcasing thrilling performances of athletes soaring above the sea using water-powered jet boards, as well as the Dragon Boat Race, where teamwork and precision create an exhilarating competition on the water.
Side events will include rowing demonstrations, on-land dragon boat experiences, and family-friendly programs such as face painting.
