Changwon officials say the special “Cherry Blossom Tour Bus” operating during the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival is seeing steady use from visitors.
The tour bus, which began service on March 27, had carried around 2,800 passengers as of March 31. The double-decker format has proven particularly popular, offering elevated views of cherry blossom-lined streets that differ from the typical on-foot experience.
The route runs in a loop from Jinhae Station, connecting major viewing spots including Gyeonghwa Station and Jinhaeru. With the festival spread across multiple locations and involving significant walking, the bus has been used as a practical way to move between key areas.
City officials said the service will continue operating through the end of the festival on April 5, with ongoing safety checks and on-site guidance planned to manage visitor demand.
