Fun in Korea: Goseong’s Daega Cherry Blossom Road lights up for night viewing

Goseong will once again illuminate its popular Daega Sipri Cherry Blossom Road with night lighting, offering visitors an extended way to enjoy the spring blossoms.
The installation, first introduced last year, covers a 400-meter stretch of the road and includes 57 landscape lights designed to enhance the area’s nighttime scenery.
In addition to the lighting, the site features a sculpture, two photo zones, and seasonal plantings such as hydrangeas, contributing to a more immersive viewing experience.
The nighttime illumination allows visitors to experience the cherry blossoms beyond daylight hours, adding a different atmosphere to a location already known for its scenic appeal.
Goseong County plans to continue improving nighttime landscapes at key sites to provide both residents and visitors with more opportunities to engage with natural surroundings.
