If you’re looking to avoid the crowds this summer, Daehang Beach on Saryangdo in Tongyeong offers a quieter alternative to Korea’s more popular seaside destinations.

The beach is open for the summer season through August 23, while a temporary campground with 42 campsites will remain available until November 6, making it easy to extend your stay on the island.
