Boseong Tea Plantation Light Festival

Date: November 29 – January 5, 2020
Location: Korea Tea Culture Park, Yulpo Beach
City: Boseong, Jeollanam-do
From November 29th until January 5, 2020, the fields of green are transposed into fields of lights turning it into a winter wonderland.

Lighting Festival at the Garden of Morning Calm

Date: December 2 – March 22, 2020
Location: Garden of Morning Calm
City: Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do
Over 30,000 lights are strewn upon the vast gardens, which include Hakyung Garden, Hometown House Garden, Bonsai Garden, Moonlight Garden, Sky Path and Garden of Eden, turning the grounds into a winter wonderland in the evening.

Seoul Design Festival

Date: December 4-8
Location: COEX
City: Seoul
A unique design festival highlights the country’s best designers all under one roof.

European Christmas Market

Date: December 7-8
Location: Seongbuk-gu
City: Seoul
Visitors can experience two days of a European Christmas event through food, music, and performances.

Pyeongchang Trout Festival

Date: December 21 – February 2, 2020
Location: Odaecheon Stream
City: Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do
A variety of programs including ice and lure fishing for trout, snow programs, ice programs, and folk programs are scheduled and enjoy eating your catch at local restaurants.

Yangju Snow Festival

Date: December 27 – February 9, 2020
Location: Jangheung Recreational Forest
City: Yangju, Gyeonggi-do
Everything winter-related, including sledding hills, sleigh trains and ice sculptures make this an exceptional festival each year.

Homigot Sunrise Festival

Date: December 31
Location: Homigot Sunrise Square
City: Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do
