Major department stores in Busan will operate on different holiday schedules during Chuseok, with shoppers advised to check individual branch closures before visiting.

Most of the closures fall between September 24 and 26, surrounding Chuseok Day on Friday, September 25.

In the Centum City area, Lotte Department Store and Shinsegae Department Store will follow different schedules. Lotte Department Store Centum City will be closed on September 25 and 26, while Shinsegae Centum City will close on September 24 and 25.

This means Shinsegae Centum City is scheduled to reopen on Saturday, September 26, while Lotte Centum City will remain closed that day.

Connect Hyundai Busan will have a shorter holiday closure, shutting only on Chuseok Day, September 25.

The Busan department store schedules are:

Shinsegae Centum City: Closed September 24–25

Lotte Department Store Centum City: Closed September 25–26

Connect Hyundai Busan: Closed September 25

Operating schedules for restaurants, food halls, cultural centers and other facilities inside the department stores may differ from the main shopping areas.

Visitors are advised to confirm individual facility hours before heading out during the holiday.
