Eastar Jet will launch daily flights between Busan and Hong Kong beginning October 25, expanding its international network from Gimhae International Airport.
The new service will depart Busan at 9:30 p.m. and arrive in Hong Kong at 12:10 a.m. the following day. Return flights will leave Hong Kong at 2 a.m. and arrive in Busan at 7:05 a.m.
The route will be Eastar Jet’s second service to Hong Kong following the launch of its Incheon-Hong Kong route in March.
The airline said that route has recorded an average load factor of about 90%, with foreign travelers accounting for approximately 90% of passengers.
Eastar Jet is looking to attract some of that Hong Kong travel demand to Busan while providing more international options for passengers in the region.
