South Korea now has a special place for Lego fans, young and old. The Legoland Korea Resort opened May 5 in Chuncheon.

The resort is Lego’s 10th theme park globally after opening one in New York last year.

Visitors have 40 rides and attractions to look forward to, as well as a 154-room hotel perfect for a Lego-themed vacation. The attractions in the park are geared towards kids ages 2 to 12 and are safely designed for families to ride together.

The park boasts over 50 million bricks and seven themed areas: Brick Street, Bricktopia, Lego Castle, Lego Ninjago World, Pirates Shore, Lego City, and Miniland.

The Miniland section uses over seven million bricks to recreate miniatures of eight iconic Korean regions, famous landmarks and other attractions.

While the park opened in early May, the Legoland Hotel will not be welcoming guests until July.

Make plans for a fun-filled, Lego-themed vacation soon!
