1. Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival

Jinhae, located in south of the Korean peninsula, features the most popular cherry blossom festival in the country. Every spring, over 2 million visitors flock to this place to appreciate beautiful cherry blossoms! Yeojwacheon Stream & Yeojwacheon Romance Bridge and Gyeonghwa Station are the major photo spots that attract both the local and international visitors. 2. Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival

If you are put off by the idea of traveling away from Seoul and yet wish to enjoy the scenic cherry blossom trees, head to Yeouido in Seoul. Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival is the city’s most famous spring festival indeed! There will be loads of couples & families strolling Yunjungno Street, known for the 1.7km-long cherry blossom tunnel, and picnickers at Yeouido Hangang Park along Seoul’s iconic river.

With the festival’s proximity to 63 Building and the Han River cruise pier, you can also enjoy the area from above at the 63 Sky Art gallery or on the river cruise.

While Jeju Island is known for canola flower fields in spring, you can also relish the island covered in light pink. 4. Daegu E-World Starlight Cherry Blossom Festival

While you can see cherry blossoms all around the city of Daegu, E-World is a must-visit destination in spring. This theme park has recently become a trendy attraction among the young couples in the southeastern region, and it’s taking it up to the next level with a lovely cherry blossom festival!

5. Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Festival

If you seek for the Korean heritage as well as spring vibes, Gyeongju should be at the top of the list. Gyeongju is often called as “the museum without walls” for having been the capital of the ancient Silla kingdom (57 BC~935 AD). You can go sightseeing for Bulguksa Temple, Cheomseongdae Observatory, Daereungwon Tomb Complex, and Anapji Pond, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage! All these sites and Bomun Lake are the most photo-worthy places in the city. Never hesitate to add Gyeongju to your bucket list especially if you love both history and nature!

6. Everland Cherry Blossom Festival

When it comes to festivals in Korea, South Korea’s biggest theme park Everland cannot be missed! Easily accessible from Seoul, you can have a fun full day at Everland. Hoam Lake is a less known gem for cherry blossoms and other spring flowers.
