Organizers of G-STAR 2026 have revealed new details for this year’s international gaming exhibition in Busan, including its exhibition layout, major global game lineup, esports tournament, indie showcase and conference program.

The event will return to BEXCO in November, with the first BTC exhibition hall featuring six large-scale booths of more than 100 booths each. Main sponsor CRACK will be joined by Krafton, HoYoverse, Google Play, Webzen and Team42.

The second exhibition hall will host the new G-STAR Global Game Showcase, bringing together several major international developers and publishers. Koei Tecmo Games will offer playable experiences including Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, Atelier Karia and Nioh 3.

SEGA’s lineup includes Total War: Warhammer 40,000, which will make its Korean debut, along with Crazy Taxi: World Tour and Football Manager 27. NetEase Games will showcase Once Human and Where Winds Meet, while CD Projekt Red will create an interactive area based around The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077, including a special presentation of Korean-language gameplay content for The Witcher 3.

Independent developers will also have a significant presence. The G-STAR Indie Showcase 2.0: GALAXY will occupy 250 booths and feature 106 domestic and international indie developers. Partners include Devolver Digital, Unity, Steam Deck and Discord, with programs ranging from playable indie titles to the first Unity AI Game Jam.

G-CON 2026, meanwhile, will focus on the theme of narrative. Newly announced speakers include Macross creator Shoji Kawamori and Blue Archive executive producer Kim Yong-ha, along with developers and creators associated with Crimson Desert, Hades, Little Nightmares, Pacific Drive, Ghost of Yotei, God of War and Sky: Children of the Light.

Esports will make a major return to the BEXCO Auditorium for the first time in three years. The OWCS Asia Stage 3 Grand Finals 2026 will run from November 20 to 22, bringing leading Overwatch teams from Korea, Japan and the Pacific region to Busan.

The 2026 Game Culture Festival will also take place at BEXCO under the theme “PLAY K: Play Korea,” combining Korean game IP with K-culture experiences and a game soundtrack performance featuring traditional Korean music.

Online programming will include a dedicated G-STAR promotion on Steam and the G-STAR Premiere livestream on November 18, offering previews of new and upcoming titles before the exhibition opens.

General admission tickets for G-STAR 2026 went on sale at 3 p.m. on September 29 through the official G-STAR website and app.

The event will once again operate on a 100% advance reservation system.
