Reservations are now open for a range of free water sports activities at the 18th National Marine Sports Festival, which will be held in Geoje from August 27–30.

The festival, taking place around Jisepo Port, Wahyeon Beach, and Gujora Beach, will feature national competitions in sailing, canoeing, fin swimming, and triathlon, along with hands-on activities for the public.

Free experiences include banana boat rides, flyfish, peanut boats, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), dragon boats, inflatable boats, and a marine adventure course. All activities will be supervised by trained instructors, with safety equipment and briefings provided before each session.

Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis through the festival’s official website until August 21, or until spaces are filled.

Participation is free, although age requirements vary by activity.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by a guardian, and preschool-aged children must bring their own life jacket.
