Gimhae International Airport has confirmed its 2025 winter international flight schedule, featuring 37 regular routes connecting the city to destinations across Asia, Oceania, and beyond.
The winter schedule runs through March 28, 2026, as announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport..
This season, the Busan–Almaty (Kazakhstan) route joins the schedule as a new regular service, marking the first time the southeastern hub will offer direct flights to Central Asia.
Operated by Eastar Jet, the route was tested during the summer with several charter flights and will expand to regular operations beginning next year’s summer season, given that demand drops during the winter months.
Japan remains the largest destination market, maintaining eight routes including Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Sapporo.
Vietnam continues with five routes to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc, while Thailand maintains two (Bangkok and Chiang Mai) and Singapore one.
China’s service count, however, has been reduced from 11 to nine, with Shijiazhuang and Sanya routes temporarily suspended.
The Philippines retains four routes, though the Clark and Bohol connections have been replaced by Angeles and Tagbilaran.
Additional destinations include Taipei and Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), Vientiane (Laos), Bali (Indonesia), Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), and Guam (USA) all maintaining service from the summer schedule.
Meanwhile, demand for Southeast Asian travel continues to grow.
Nationwide winter operations to the region will see a 36.7% increase, with Vietnam (+64.6%), Singapore (+29.5%), and Thailand (+22.8%) leading growth in flight frequency.
