Gimhae Nakdong River Rail Park has welcomed more than 2.66 million visitors since opening in 2016, marking a major milestone as the popular attraction celebrates its 10th anniversary.

According to the Gimhae Cultural Foundation, the park recorded 2,668,620 cumulative visitors through the end of July 2026. Attractions such as the electric rail bikes crossing the Nakdong River railway bridge, the immersive D-CAVE media attraction, and the former wine tunnel have helped establish the park as one of Gimhae’s leading tourist destinations.

Summer visitation has also continued to rise. The park welcomed 17,511 visitors in July, a 6% increase compared to the same month last year and the highest July total recorded in the past four years. From January through July, visitor numbers reached 125,101, up 9.4% year-on-year.

One of the park’s biggest summer draws is D-CAVE, where temperatures remain between 14°C and 16°C throughout the season.

The attraction combines immersive media art, lighting effects, and photo zones, making it especially popular with families and younger visitors seeking relief from the summer heat.

The electric rail bikes continue to attract visitors of all ages, offering an easy ride across the former railway bridge with panoramic views of the Nakdong River.

The rail park also features a train-themed café and observation deck, with operators planning continued improvements to its attractions and visitor facilities as it enters its second decade.
