Gimhae to host sunset concerts at Daeseong-dong Tumuli this fall

Gimhae’s Daeseong-dong Tumuli Museum will hold its “2026 Daeseong-dong Tumuli Sunset Concert” series, kicking off on August 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the outdoor plaza next to the ancient tomb site.

The concerts are part of the Korea Heritage Service’s 2026 World Heritage Utilization Program, designed to let citizens experience the outstanding value of the Daeseong-dong Tumuli, a UNESCO World Heritage site, through performances and hands-on activities.

Three concerts are planned in total, running August 22, September 19, and October 17.

Each show pairs live music with stories from Gaya history: jazz quintet Kang Hye-in Quintet opens the series, followed by classical group Gam Strings, and tango ensemble Chin Chin Tango closes it out.

The concerts are free and open to the public, no registration required.
