The Gyeongnam Arboretum will host a rose giveaway event on May 14 at its Fragrance Garden to mark Rose Day.

The event begins at 1 p.m., with 100 visitors receiving a single fresh rose on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation requires either following the arboretum’s official social media account or completing a visitor satisfaction survey on-site.

Rose Day, observed annually on May 14, is associated with expressing appreciation and affection through flowers. The event is being organized as part of Family Month activities, offering visitors a simple, seasonal experience tied to the garden setting.

The Fragrance Garden, created in 2021, spans approximately 3,160㎡ and features more than 40 plant species, including roses, wintersweet, and cornelian cherry.

With roses currently in bloom, the garden has become a popular spot for visitors during the late spring season.
