The inaugural 2026 Imsil N Rose Festival is underway through May 31 at the Rose Garden inside Imsil Cheese Theme Park, offering visitors a new spring festival centered around roses, performances and local food.

The festival will feature more than 22,000 rose bushes from over 150 varieties spread across a 65,705-square-meter garden. Organizers plan to combine floral displays with concerts, cultural performances, hands-on programs and regional food experiences aimed at attracting both tourists and local visitors.

Major events include opening celebration performances featuring singers Lee Chan-won, Son Tae-jin, Jeon Yu-jin, Kim Da-hyun and Shin Yu, along with a rose-themed music concert accompanied by an orchestra.

A live radio broadcast and the festival’s signature Rose Parade are also scheduled during the four-day event.

Additional programs will include proposal events, street art performances, traditional cultural shows, children’s entertainment, magic and bubble shows, and interactive rose-themed activities.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy local specialties and food zones featuring Korean beef dishes, regional cuisine, cheese products, rose-themed desserts such as rose bread and rose ice cream, as well as a craft beer zone.

Admission to the festival is free.
