The 10th Jinju Christmas Tree Chambeet Culture Festival opened on November 30 at 5 pm in Jinju Great Victory History Park, marking the start of a month-long display of winter lights and festive performances.
Hosted and organized by the Jinju Christian Council and the festival committee, the event has grown into one of the city’s signature year-end celebrations, known for its community involvement and warm holiday atmosphere..
Under the slogan “Jinju United in True Light and Sharing,” this year’s festival offers a variety of events and attractions throughout December.
On ten selected evenings — December 6–7, 13–14, 20–21, 24–25, and 27–28 — cultural performances will take place from 6 p.m. at the history park, accompanied by free cotton candy and fish-shaped pastries for visitors.
A media art exhibition at Rodeo Street adds another highlight to the holiday festivities.
