Jinju City will open nine water play facilities across the city this summer, providing residents with free places to cool off during the hot weather.

The facilities, which include four water playgrounds and five ground fountains, will operate from July through the end of August. The seasonal attractions have become popular with families in recent years, offering children a convenient way to enjoy water activities without leaving the city.

The four water playgrounds — Mulchooul Park, Geumhoji Waterfront Theme Park, Doraesaemi Park, and Gajwa Dream Chorong Park — will operate on a reservation system.

Reservations and visitor information will be available through the Jinju City online booking platform.

Five ground fountain facilities — Pyeonggeo Green Space, Namgaram Park, Chujeon Mulbit Park, Narae Park, and Huimang Plaza — will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with visitor numbers limited according to each site’s capacity.

All facilities will be free to use, although they will be closed every Tuesday to allow for maintenance and cleaning.
